The Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) will host the third edition of the international scientific conference "Landscape" titled "Agroecosystems in Transformation: Visions, Technologies and Actors" from September 24 to 26, 2024 in Berlin. The first “Landscape” conference took place in Berlin in 2018. The second edition was held in 2021 as an online event.

Under the Finnish presidency of the Council of the European Union, last October 23 was held in Helsinki the 3rd workshop of the initiative initiated by INRA in partnership with two German organizations (ZALF and JKI) on the vision of a agriculture without chemical pesticides.

More than 20 European research institutes are already involved

One of INRAE’s priority goals is to spur research on pesticide-free agriculture, a major concern for French and European government authorities and citizens. INRAE is currently leading a national research programme and driving efforts to create a European roadmap.
